Administrative Assistant

Under direct supervision, the Property Tax Administrative Assistant supports assigned Property Tax Advisor administratively. The incumbent ensures that the assigned team is using up to date and accurate information by scanning and filing documents correctly in a timely manner.
Essential Functions
· Copying, scanning, faxing, filing
· Creation, organization and management of various documents and Hard Files
· Data Network Filing
· Organization and creation of file binders
· Receive, identify, and sort all incoming mail on daily basis
· Execute outgoing mail processes, including preparation of certified and return receipts, proper postage metering, logs proof of mailers and delivery of certified mail to local post office
· Responsible for creating and updating file ledger to identify the correct filing process for binders and folders
· Operate from JJC's Vision & Mission Statement

Required Education & Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Active Texas driver's & personal vehicle liability insurance

• Associate's degree or higher education
