Senior Account Executive

As the Senior Account Executive, you will be responsible for adhering to processes and procedures identifying revenue generating opportunities. Client relationships are a key metric at J Joseph. Therefore, the Senior Account Executive will work collaboratively with their team and other departments across the company to provide clients with a superior level of service. The Senior Account Executive will be part of a collaborative work culture.

This position is responsible for generating new business by following the approved J. Joseph process. The Senior Account Executive is expected to identify growth opportunities with existing clients and understand the need for building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with clients.

While serving our clients, the Senior Account Executive has an obligation to leave no stone unturned.

Essential Functions
• Responsible for generating new sales and sales among existing client accounts ("expansion opportunities")
• Acts as the primary point of contact for the assigned book of business
• Responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with assigned book of business to understand their needs, potential and to explain product value
• Responsible for managing synergy relationships
• Acts as the client-facing J. Joseph brand ambassador
• Participates in marketing campaign development
• Coordinates and communicates with internal stakeholders assigned to the same client to ensure consistent exceptional service delivery • Maintains CRM records for the assigned book of business
• In conjunction with CFO, responsible for client issue resolution and escalation when appropriate • Assists with department process development and improvement
• Adhere to JJC’s best practices
• Assists with new team member training
• Request trendulation reports to explain billing to clients
• Assist in data requests
• Client relation repair and re-negotiation of contracts
• Manages sales cycle from receipt of leads to debrief with Technical Department
• Responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients by staying in frequent contact with them
• Attend networking opportunities such as conferences and luncheons in order to find new leads and turn them into long-term relationships

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filling cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role, must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time. Filing, printing, faxing, scanning and copying is required; this requires the ability to move about the office and position self to access equipment and filing cabinets, transport items (files, box of paper, etc.) weighing up to 20 lbs., and ascend/descend step ladder/stool as necessary. The position requires extended hours in from of a computer screen and operation of a computer and other office equipment such as a calculator, and a copy machine. This position requires the ability to communicate and exchange accurate information via telephone, in person, and in writing.
Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Regular schedule for this position is 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with a flexible lunch hour. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel up to 40% may be required.
Required Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree and (4) years’ experience in sales or a combination of both education and experience
• Minimum 4 years of experience using CRM systems
• Minimum 4 years of experience in sales, account management or related fields
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Active driver’s license and personal vehicle liability insurance
Preferred Education and Experience
• Master's degree in business administration or related field
• Minimum 4 years of experience in sales of property tax or consulting services
• Experience using Microsoft Dynamics
